When I sat down with Danica, her mother, Patrice, and her father, Jeff, in my studio gallery in Manchester NH, I remember sharing in the excitement as we discussed the wonderful wedding plans being put in place for their July 27, 2013 ceremony. The ceremony was to be held at St Patrick’s Church in Nashua NH with reception to follow at Searles Castle in Windham NH. When I met Danica and Matt for their engagement session last fall, I had a feeling that we were in for a wonderful day.

I worked alongside my good friends Tom and Lisa Teneriello who own Precious Moments Wedding Films. Precious Moments posses a particular talent for creating incredibly emotive wedding films with a completely unobtrusive manner.

I was also delighted once again to be joined by Jaime Connolly who shot with me throughout the day and lent her talent to the wedding day capture.

The only thing perhaps more striking than the turn of the century exterior of Searles is its stately drawing rooms and rich interior. With a crystal clear royal sky spreading out above and warm summer temperatures pervading all around, the stage was aptly set for Danica and Matt’s wedding story to unfold.

I headed up the tower stairwell to meet Danica in the blue room bridal suite.

Amid the buzz of wedding day activity, the littlest of the wedding party receives a bit of comfort from her aunt Danica.

The top notch staff at Searles deliver a champagne refreshment to the bridal suite.

Bridesmaids Alexis and Chelsea continue with preparations.

With a special gift to present to her father, Danica and Patrice invite Jeff to see his daughter for the first time on her wedding day.

Patrice spends a moment with her daughter as the emotion of the wedding day begins to fill the air.

With the help of a young attendant, Danica and her bridesmaids descend the tower staircase to find the limo waiting in the courtyard.

On the way through the mansion, I took the opportunity to use the castle’s features to photograph Danica and her bridesmaids.

Meanwhile, Matt and the groomsmen joined Jaime at St Patrick’s Church in Nashua NH to await the arrival of Danica.

Jeff and Patrice join with Matt’s parents, Tim and Helen, for a formal portrait with their children.

Before the wedding, Danica and Matt told me they wanted to honor the legacy of their parents’ love and marriages. As we arrived back at the castle from St Patrick’s, we asked each of their parents to join us for several special photos.

Searles does not disappoint. The courtyard tent was arrayed in beauty and splendor, filled with summer colors and striking detail.

The fun and energy of the wedding day was evident in every corner of the mansion and grounds.

Danica. Matt. I had a wonderful time spending your wedding day with you. Thank you so much letting me tell your love story. I hope you love your photos. More to come!
